Having left Fort Davis and the joy of a motel for a few days we're now back to slumming it on RV campsites. An RV campsite is a bit like a trailer park, but the caravans are a bit smarter. The RV'ers aren't though. Anyway we stayed in Marathon, which unusually for Texas is pronounced correctly not like a five year old using their finger. It rained for the first time. Most people on seeing the thunder clouds gather, chose to put up their tents so as to "get out of the rain". I did not. I similarly did not spend the rest of the night trying to dry the things that were washed away in a mini flash flood. We ave also visited Sanderson and today the Seminole Canyon Campground. He latter is the first of the trio to have lived up to the promise of WIFI. Ta. The riding's been fine and we've covered about 160 miles over the last few days.
My bum is still OK but I need a haircut as my sideburns are starting to whistle over 15mph.
